Bratrud Sock Puppets are IN!
Todd Bratrud has done so much amazing skateboard-related art, you may want to hit the Google a bit before reading this, but yesterday we received our shipment of the sock puppets he designed for Volcom. At the same time, I read this on kingshit.org. Coincidence? I think not…

A Festival Of Jiblets?
Boom! Pow! The Alcatraz/Dialogue crew was wrecking shop at Georgian Jibfest this weekend. Uhhh…where do I start?I think first I’m going to say a HUGE congratulations to Diana who recently got head to toe sponsorship with Bern, Spy, Special Blend, Forum…did I miss any? As anyone who puts in a lot of days knows, free stuff makes it all easier. Also, congratulations to her for her shot in the new SBC Snowboard travel issue. And finally, one last firing of the high-five cannon to Diana for winning her division at Jibfest! Woot, here it is:
Again with the radical awesomeness, Yuri went ahead and won himself Best Trick for a front board pretzel out. Rumour has it that Wicked Jay also threw down one of those in his run, but I guess Yuri’s moustache must have pushed him over the edge.
Apparently, later that night Wicked Jay won Raddest Party Guy and Dude Who’s Bringing Back All Black Kits. Bradley Hesson won the prize for Most Huggable and Most Likely To Recently Turn Fifteen. All in all, sounds like fun.
Matt Bujok, fresh off a summer training regimen of front yard skimboarding went to the Clock Tower contest in Ottawa, also held this past Saturday. He came home with the prize for Dude Who Totally Drove The Farthest. Yay Team!
